This Privacy Policy describes how Playoff Rally collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Service. We collect only what we need to run the game and never sell your data.

1. Information We Collect

From Google Sign-In: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use these to create and identify your account. We do not receive your Google password.

Game data: We store the picks you make, your league memberships, scores, and any team name you set. This data is necessary to run the game.

Payment information: If you pay for a feature, payment is processed by a third-party provider (Stripe). We do not store your card number, CVV, or full payment details — only a transaction reference.

Usage data: We may log basic request data (page visits, errors) for debugging purposes. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To run leagues, track picks, and calculate scores
• To send game-related emails (round results, lineup reminders) — only to registered players
• To process payments for optional paid features
• To investigate bugs and improve the Service

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Playoff Rally:

• Google OAuth — sign-in and account identity (Google Privacy Policy)
• Resend — transactional email delivery (Resend Privacy Policy)
• Stripe — payment processing, when applicable (Stripe Privacy Policy)
• Railway — hosting and infrastructure (Railway Privacy Policy)

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We share only the information necessary for them to perform their function.

4. Cookies & Sessions

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie contains only a session ID — no personal information. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and game data as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your account and associated picks data. Email info@playoffrally.com to request account deletion.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@playoffrally.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Children’s Privacy

Playoff Rally is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
